Saturalabs — original sound-effect mixing references These three synthetic WAVs are dedicated to the public domain under CC0 1.0: https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/ Only mixture.wav, chime.wav and background.wav in this directory are covered. This does not license other site media. No third-party recording is used. All files: mono, 48,000 Hz, 16-bit PCM, 192,000 frames, 4 seconds, 384,044 bytes including the basic WAV header. The chime component contains two events beginning at 0.75 and 2.25 seconds. Each lasts 1.25 seconds, using 660, 1782 and 2673 Hz sinusoids at initial amplitudes 0.20, 0.06 and 0.03. Their shared envelope rises over 5 ms, decays exponentially with a 0.32-second time constant, and fades out over its final 8 ms. The event is a synthetic reference, not a recorded bell. The background combines a 100 Hz sinusoid at amplitude 0.045 and seeded xorshift noise smoothed with a one-pole coefficient of 0.07 at amplitude 0.04. The background has 5 ms outer ramps. Neither background nor chime was extracted, denoised, normalized or otherwise processed by an AI model. The two components are quantized to PCM16 separately. The mixture is their integer sample sum; no clipping or subsequent normalization is applied. The final mix is not an example of a Saturalabs AI output. Reproduce from the repository root: node --import tsx scripts/generate-sound-effect-examples.ts FFmpeg and FFprobe are required for the independent stored-file checks. measurements.json contains SHA-256 hashes, independently decoded frame counts, format fields, sample peak/RMS and the maximum integer sum error. FFmpeg PCM decoding verifies mixture = chime + background exactly at every frame. These are digital file checks, not listening quality, SNR improvement, AI performance, hearing or playback-device measurements. Listen to the mixture and source component at the same player level. If testing AI isolation yourself, use the mixture as input and keep the source component for comparison. AI downloads follow the account/credit flow. Playing or downloading these references does not start an AI job. The files are not part of the existing downloadable WAV test-file ZIP.
