# MP3 encoder attribution and source

Saturalabs' optional MP3 export uses lamejs 1.2.1 by Alex Zhukov, a
JavaScript port of the LAME MP3 encoder. The runtime is distributed as a
separate, unmodified script, loaded only for an MP3 export job.

- lamejs project: https://github.com/zhuker/lamejs
- Unmodified runtime: ./lame.min.js
- Upstream license notice: ./LICENSE.txt
- Declared package license (LGPL-3.0): ./LGPL-3.0.txt
- GPL text referenced by LGPL-3.0: ./GPL-3.0.txt
- Older GNU Library license text also supplied upstream: ./COPYING.txt
- Complete upstream source package: ./lamejs-1.2.1.tgz
- Original package: https://registry.npmjs.org/lamejs/-/lamejs-1.2.1.tgz

The package was pinned and verified against its npm SHA-512 integrity:

No modifications to the encoder library are included. Its original notices
and source are provided alongside it. The surrounding Saturalabs application
and user recordings are separate from this encoder distribution.

The package metadata declares LGPL-3.0; its included older Java COPYING text
is preserved as supplied, alongside LGPL-3.0 and GPL-3.0. Nothing in Saturalabs
application terms restricts the rights granted for this separately distributed
encoder by its applicable upstream license, including modification and debugging.
