Free tools for your next audio edit
Loop audio online. Repeat the part you need.
Choose a passage from a short MP3 or WAV, repeat it 2–100 times and preview a finite WAV or MP3. Your audio stays in your browser.
Loop audio
Free · localChoose an audio file. No account or audio upload required.
The selected audio repeats without crossfades, beat detection, added silence or normalization. Abrupt boundaries can click. Audio is decoded at 48 kHz and written as PCM16 WAV or a new lossy MP3; source metadata and bit depth are not preserved. Input and output must each fit 50 MiB and five minutes.

How to loop audio online
- 01 / OPEN
Choose an MP3 or WAV
Open a mono or stereo recording up to 50 MiB and five minutes. The file is decoded locally in your browser.
- 02 / SELECT
Choose the section and plays
Listen to the original to locate a passage, then enter its start and end in seconds. Choose 2–100 total plays. Four plays means four consecutive copies, including the first.
- 03 / REVIEW
Preview and download
Create a WAV or MP3, listen across several joins and download the same file you previewed. The output must also fit five minutes and 50 MiB.
Make the transition useful
How to make an audio loop sound smoother
A repeated passage joins its end directly to its beginning. If the waveform changes abruptly at that boundary, the join may click. A loop can also feel uneven when it starts or ends between beats, even if no click is audible. This tool does not detect beats, align bars, add a crossfade or remove silence.
Listen to the original and choose an entrance and exit that make musical sense. For a repeating phrase, try a whole number of bars and preserve the same count at each boundary. Create a test and listen through the transition; adjust the timestamps if the rhythm jumps or the join clicks. You can use the song BPM finder for an approximate tempo, but it does not select loop points.
If you need deliberate overlaps between different clips, the separate audio joiner offers optional crossfades. A crossfade changes timing and sound at the join; compare the result with the original. The edit-click guide explains boundary checks.
Choose the right file
WAV or MP3 for a repeated audio file?
The WAV contains 48 kHz, 16-bit PCM: the selected decoded frames repeated in order without added pauses. Stereo channels remain in their original positions. Browser decoding may resample the original, and PCM16 export can clip samples outside its range. Original tags, artwork and bit depth are not copied.
MP3 is a new lossy encode and may add delay or padding around the exported file. For precise timeline placement or further editing, WAV is often a better working copy. The result is finite, with 2–100 total plays; this is not an infinite live playback loop. To repeat a longer passage, reduce the count or use a desktop editor if the five-minute or 50 MiB output limit is exceeded.
Use a recording you have permission to edit and share. Repetition does not remove unwanted sounds or separate a voice from music; the entire selected mix repeats.

Built with the LAME encoder via lamejs.
The optional MP3 download uses lamejs 1.2.1 by Alex Zhukov, a JavaScript port of the LAME MP3 encoder. Its unmodified script is served separately. See the attribution and source notes, upstream license notice, LGPL-3.0 and GPL-3.0 texts, and complete upstream source package.
A few useful answers
Free audio looper questions
How do I loop audio online?
Choose an MP3 or WAV, enter a start and end time, select 2–100 total plays and create the loop. Listen to the actual export and download it. Input and output must each fit 50 MiB and five minutes.
Can I repeat only part of an MP3?
Yes. Enter the start and end of the passage in seconds. The selected decoded audio repeats in order without an added pause, crossfade or beat alignment.
Why is there a click at the loop point?
An abrupt change between the selected end and start can create a click. Adjust the boundaries and listen across the join. This tool does not add crossfades or guarantee a seamless loop.
Is the audio uploaded?
No. The file is decoded and processed locally in your browser. Download the result before leaving; it is not saved for later.
Can I make a one-hour loop?
No. This tool creates a finite output of at most five minutes and 50 MiB. Use a desktop editor for a longer export.
Does the MP3 preserve exact timing?
MP3 is a new lossy encode and can add delay or padding. WAV is 48 kHz PCM16 and retains the repeated decoded frame count, though browser decoding can resample the source.
