Short censor beep
A 0.30-second synthetic tone for a brief cue.
Three original synthetic WAVs
Choose a short, medium or long bleep for an audio or video edit. Each original tone is free to download without an account.
Listen at a comfortable volume
Each file is a mono, 48 kHz, 16-bit PCM WAV with a 1 kHz sine tone and short fades. The player previews the same file you download.
A 0.30-second synthetic tone for a brief cue.
A 0.60-second synthetic tone with the same pitch and level.
A 1.00-second synthetic tone for a longer interval.
Keep the edit intelligible
For a different pitch or a whole-second duration from 1 to 30 seconds, the free tone generator can create a separate sine-wave WAV. Save its result before opening another tool. For an audio-only file, the free audio trimmer can prepare a shorter beep. Save the WAV first and open it separately; it does not mute the word in your project. If the audio belongs to video, preserve timing and follow the video audio replacement checklist.
File origin and reuse
Saturalabs generated these three sine waves without a third-party recording and dedicates the WAV files under CC0 1.0. You may copy, adapt and use these files commercially without attribution under that dedication. This applies to these three WAVs, not other site media or recordings.
The tones have a nominal −12 dBFS sample peak and 10 ms edge ramps. These digital properties do not guarantee a comfortable level in every mix or conceal speech on another track. Read the file notice and generation details or inspect the measurements and hashes.
